crayon roll

This week, with crayons on the back-to-school sale for forty cents, I bought a 24 pack and made a crayon roll for Rosie (tutorial here). I used fabric from Grams's attic as well as some leftovers from Owen's quilt.




Rosie s just developing the kind of fine motor skills required for putting crayons in their individual spots. But while she was excited to untie the ribbon on her "present," she would still rather play with dirt and water than with crayons. One of these days...
