On our drive to Georgia last week, Rosie repeatedly asked, "Mommy, Daddy, where we goin' tonight?"
Yesterday, on our drive back to Indiana, we decided to count how many times she asked. I think it was 27.
Usually we answered, "We're going to our sweet home."
Usually she said, "No."
"Where do you want to go?" we would ask.
She often answered, "Chick-fil-a!"
This was one passion I really did not intend to impart to my daughter.
It's true that I located all the Chick-fil-a restaurants on our route so that we could be sure to stop there, sure. And I found a Chipotle for our stop on the way home (CFA is closed Sundays). This is just what Lepines do on road trips. There's no point in eating at a Wendy's if you don't have to.

Amen.
Planning your trip around where you're going to eat is the Lepine way. I'm glad to see that little Rosie Peterson is learning it young and learning it well.
