It's fairly common to name daughters for virtues, or fruits of the Spirit. Faith, Joy, Hope, and especially Grace (which is in the top 20 most popular baby names for girls, and has been for a while) are common, and I've also known Peace and Charity.
But I can't think of a single popular boy name (in English, or in the western world - I'm curious to know if the pattern follows in other cultures or not) which is also a virtue or fruit of the spirit. No one names their son Courage, much less Peace.
What does this mean? Is it a sign that we have feminized virtue?
Is it sexist? Do we willingly objectify our daughters, but give our sons personal names? Do we cheapen masculinity by separating it from true virtue? Do we reduce virtue by making it only feminine and not masculine?

Buck the trend! Name him Courage Steven Peterson!
So, I met a little boy named Oliver. I loved him. That's all I have to say.
