vegetables

I want to grow tomatoes. And green beans. Zucchini and yellow squash. But will they grow here? Any suggestions?

Last Saturday was sunny and 75. Tonight we've had intermittent rain, hail, and snow. I'm ready for spring, for laying out on the beach, for soaking up vitamins through sunlight.

Mollie is actually writing on her blog now, and posting pictures of Africa. You should read it. I'm jealous of all she is learning and experiencing.

I just finished skimming through the selected writings of Dorothy Day. Man, that girl was crazy. She opposed war so much that she wouldn't take a job with wages because she didn't want to have to give tax money to a warring government. She would go even crazier if she were alive today. But she really DID something; she really lived according to her beliefs, and she really sincerely believed in Jesus. And that's more than I can say for a lot of folks today.
