Tomorrow night, Amy Sherman-Palladino's "The Return of Jezebel James" (starring Parker Posey and Lauren Ambrose as unlikely sisters)debuts on Fox. I will always be a fan of ASP, if only for Rory and Lorelei's sake, and I would happily watch Parker Posey read the phone book. But I'm worried about "Jezebel James". The previews look over-acted, and while the writing is(as usual) chock full of hip pop-culture references, the show uses canned laugh tracks!
Oh, Amy Sherman Palladino! What is the world coming to when even your spunky writing must be accompanied by fake laughter!
