2. Attitude. Rosemary has realized that a pacifier means sleep, and that sleep is less fun than playing, and thus refuses to be pacified. Poor girl.
3. Solids. With her six teeth, Rosemary likes chomping down on pears, apples, bananas, rice, sweet potato, and cheerios. So far, she doesn't like any green foods. I've turned my hand to bib-making.
4. Leftie? When she eats, she likes to grab the spoon herself, and "help" me guide it to her mouth. She unfailingly grabs it with her left hand.
5. Anticipation. K&L's visit in ten days or so, Mom and Dad Peterson's visit the following weekend, and Mimi's visit (?) in October.
6. Rating. I'm now working 4-8 hours per week as a rater for the TOEIC speaking exam, a test that people who speak English as a second language usually have to take when applying for jobs in English speaking countries. This means I spend hours listening to people answering questions like....well, I can't tell you exactly, it's confidential. But here, according to the sample test which is publicly available, questions like: Some people prefer to take a job that does not pay well but does provide a lot of time off from work. What is your opinion about taking a job with a low salary that has a lot of vacation time? Give reasons for your opinion. It's not a bad gig.
7. Scale model. I'll be home for almost three weeks at Christmas, and during that time, I'll help Mom work on re-doing the playroom.
8. Wedding. Last weekend we celebrated the wedding of two of our ICF friends, Taiwanese Joanne and Korean Jerry.

9. Creating. Aunt Pants and I have been working for several weeks now perfecting our techniques for hand-printing onesies. Soon they'll be available on Etsy!
